Journal CELL

October 22, 2015: Dr. Kate Meyer, a postdoctoral fellow, and Dr. Samie Jaffrey reported in the journal CELL this week that N6-methyladenosine containing mRNAs can be translated in a cap-independent manner. Cellular stress induces redistribution of methyladenosine transcriptome-wide, with broad implications for diseases such as cancer. Read the CELL journal article for more information.
